This idea was inspired by a dear friend who is writing a witty, insightful, inspirational blog about getting her body back after having two kids. Originally, I started with the idea of accomplishing a press-handstand in 365 days. However, it's turned into so much more than that. It's really about my journey back from chronic fatigue syndrome, regaining strength and flexibility that I once had as a gymnast, and my journey back to ironman fitness (and more importantly, the life lessons I'm learning along the way).

7/2/13: Day 3

Tired again-so I mostly rested. But I got up and stretched and decided I could a little. I tried a stalder hold-which I realized I can no longer really do. I can barely lift my legs off the ground. We have a ways to go on this press handstand thing. My left hip flexor was aggravated just like it was after a dry needling experience I had a month ago. It seems that’s a weak point-something that needs strengthening-I think that’s the answer. I also did one 30 second handstand against the wall. It was harder than it was the other day. I think I’m just tired today.
